SUMMARY:Competition: Spring Exhibition 2027 (Members Only)
DESCRIPTION:The theme for the 2027 Spring Photography Competition is:\n“The Paths We Take”\nMembers have several months to explore this theme, giving plenty of time to discover, capture and create images that reflect “The Paths We Take” in their own unique way.\nAs before, competition images will be displayed individually in simple, glassless frames. This allows judging to focus solely on the quality, creativity and presentation of the photographs themselves, rather than the influence of framing or display.\nPrinted photographs may have a small border around the image, with a maximum width of 6mm. This is because the frames may slightly crop the image if the subject is positioned close to the edges.\nRules\n\nEntries are open to Le DéClic Luchaptais members only.\nPhotographs must have been taken between Saturday 4th April 2026 and Sunday 10th April 2027.\nMaximum 3 entries per person.\nPhotographs must be printed in A4 format, with a border of no more than 6mm.\nDeadline for online image and EXIF information submission: Sunday 11th April 2027.\nDeadline for printed photograph submission: Friday 16th April 2027 (the last club meeting before the Spring Exhibition).\n\nDigital copies of the images must be emailed to:\nledeclicluchaptais@gmail.com ( mailto:ledeclicluchaptais@gmail.com )\nbefore Sunday 11th April 2027, together with the following information:\n\nTitle of each photograph\nDate and location where the photograph was taken\nPhotographer’s name\nCamera make and model\nEXIF details:\n\nAperture\nShutter Speed\nISO\nFocal Length\n\n\n\nPrizes\nJudges’ Vote\n\n1st, 2nd and 3rd places overall\n\nPublic Vote\n\n1st, 2nd and 3rd places overall\n\nDepending on the number of black and white entries received, an additional Black & White Award may be introduced. This will be confirmed nearer the competition.\nCertificates will be awarded for all winning places. However, only the first-place winners in each category will receive a €10 Le DéClic Luchaptais printing voucher.\nGood Luck!\nAbove all, we hope you enjoy taking part in the 2027 spring competition.
