The club kicked off the year’s programme of outings with a visit to Poitiers on 16th January 2026 for a day of street photography. Members spent time exploring the city’s streets, capturing everyday life, architecture, and moments of interest as they unfolded. The outing provided an opportunity to observe and respond to a variety of scenes, encouraging a more spontaneous and observational approach to photography. It was a relaxed and enjoyable start to the year’s activities, with a good level of participation from members. A selection of images taken during the visit can be viewed below.
