1. Name
The association is called Le DéClic Luchaptais Photography Club (hereafter referred to as “the Club”).
2. Purpose
The purpose of the Club is to promote photography as a creative and enjoyable activity, to support members in developing their photographic skills, and to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience within a friendly and inclusive environment.
The Club also aims to promote photography within the local community through exhibitions and public events.
3. Membership
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in photography, regardless of age, experience or equipment. Members are expected to support the aims of the Club and respect other members. Membership is confirmed upon payment of the annual subscription.
4. Committee
The Club is managed by a committee elected from its members. The committee currently consists of:

Treasurer
Assistant Treasurer
Technical Officer
The committee is responsible for the organisation and smooth running of the Club’s activities.
5. Meetings
The Club holds regular monthly meetings, normally on a Friday afternoon, at the Salle des Associations in Luchapt. Additional activities may include workshops, outings, competitions and exhibitions.
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held once per year to review the Club’s activities, present accounts, and elect committee members.
6. Finance
The Club is funded through annual membership subscriptions and funds raised during its public exhibitions (including café sales and tombola).
All funds are used solely for the benefit of the Club, including administrative costs, expenses, equipment, and other resources that support members’ activities.
7. Exhibitions and Activities
The Club organises two public exhibitions each year (spring and winter), which include themed photographic competitions. These exhibitions include café sales and a tombola to help raise funds for the Club.
The exhibition photography competitions may be judged and/or include public voting, and provide an opportunity to engage with the local community and showcase members’ work.
8. Amendments
This constitution may be amended at the Annual General Meeting by a majority vote of members.
