For March 2026, the club’s monthly photography challenge explored the theme “Macro: Spring Growth”, inviting members to capture the detail and emergence of new life at close range. The challenge encouraged careful observation and composition, with attention to fine detail, texture, and the use of focus to isolate subjects such as buds, leaves, and early seasonal growth. Members explored how light and depth of field can be used creatively in macro photography to highlight form and bring small subjects to life.
